D-Day 20/08/2011 - The London Warriors Wimbledon
London Warriors were invited to take part in Dave Ryan’s famous D-Day kickboxing tournament.

The Warriors entered four fighters to represent the academy
Novice Rado Logofetov competed for the first time, though he didn’t claim the first place trophy, he gave a very good account of himself and gained valuable experience.

Fellow freshman Rob Sheppard also performed well on his debut bout and went on to enjoy a very convincing win.

Dave Sargent’s display of Martial Arts was typical of him, with a steady, controlled and convincing performance.

Last but by no means least, Liz Ferioli going from strength to strength returning to form after a lengthy break to give birth to a beautiful baby girl.

Liz showed her experience coupled with skilful hand and feet combinations and dispatched her opponent to claim a deserved victory.

Well done to all the Warriors that took part and also special thanks to all the supports that came along and helped their compatriots through their events.
