Hosted by Phil Allen, Chief Instructor of Body Focus Martial Arts, The Glory Fight Night was a brilliant end to the year of tournaments for London Warriors.
The team of Warrior fighters on this occasion were:
Aiden Claridge
Mark Claridge
Joe Young
George Young
Aiden fought and defeated an opponent who beat him on a previous show.
Mark (Man Mountain) Claridge took part in a super heavyweight title bout contested over four rounds, both Mark and his opponent fought four very tough rounds which culminated in victory for Mark, to be crowned The Glory Super Heavyweight Champion.
Joe Young represented the Warriors only for the second time. This bout started of very well with both fighters exchanging and landing a series of kicks and punches which ended a well contested first round. The second round kicked off in the same manner as the first one ended, unfortunately half way through the round Joe sustained an injury which meant he was unable to continue and conceded victory to his opponent.
After a very nervous start George Young grew in statue with each and every round, in the final round George kept pushing forward which saw his opponent continually on the back foot, after a combination of well placed kicks and punches George was declared victorious and was awarded the first place trophy.
